Cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase is working with fintech firm Broadridge Financial Solutions to expand buy-side liquidity for traders, according to a press release.

 

Broadridge Financial solutions will provide Coinbase Exchange with its NYFIX order-routing network, which would enhance liquidity by sourcing it from multiple venues.

Broadridge Financial solutions joins a growing list of financial services companies that have entered the digital currency market this year. Private equity giant KKR put a portion of a private equity fund on the Avalanche blockchain network earlier this week, while asset manager BlackRock also announced that it would offer cryptocurrency to its institutional clients after partnering with Coinbase Exchange in August.

The deal will help bring Cryptocurrency trading to the institutional client market, according to Ray Tierney, president of Broadridge Trading and Connectivity Solutions.
